The Buchanan Forum

Since 1937, students and faculty at St John’s College have sought to meet the challenges that face our country and liberal democracies around the world by reading and discussing the books that form the roots of our civilization. The goal of the Buchanan Forum at St John’s College is to expand the reach of the College’s founding vision of worldly engagement grounded on liberal education. We invite anyone who seeks a thoughtful life amid today’s rapid technological, cultural, and political flux.
